M.D.:   A bit like having psychanalized your dog, then illustrated the phase of "transference," to use the jargon ...

My dear Marcel, my dogs are loathe to be psychoanalized.  If I gave a Katchina a human dimension, it is because I see her that way, that is to say that I decided to see her that way ... Finally, I suppose there is also a reflection on the hilarity of appearances in there.   If one wants to bother, one finds them everywhere ...

Mon cher Marcel, mes chiens répugnent à la psychanalyse. Si j'ai donné à Katchina une dimension humaine, c'est parce que je la vois comme ça, c'est-à-dire que j'ai décidé de la voir comme ça ... Enfin, mettons que il y a aussi là-dedans une des reflexions sur l'hilarite des apparrences.  Si l'on veut s'en donner la peine, on en trouve partout...]
