Making a tiny book was an irresistible temptation in this age of gigantism and, again with Georges Visat as master etcher as well as publisher, Demain was begun. I can still see Visat wiping colors on the little plates while I stood by, always imploring for another try. There must have been fifty of these. Finally it was ready: a miniature poem with four minuscule etchings, and front and back cover etchings. For my own words my own images -- what more could one ask?
